During Take-Two Interactive's earnings report, they again made an indication that the next title in the Grand Theft Auto franchise will come out next year.
At the earnings call, Strauss Zelnick said, "We remain confident that we are positioning our business for a significant inflection point in fiscal 2025, which we believe will include new record levels of operating performance."
"We would like to thank all of our stakeholders for their continued support, and we look forward to delivering on this exciting next chapter."
For this type of boost, they really need a major title to launch. If this statement is accurate, this means the next title of the GTA series, which we think is "GTA VI" is coming in the next 25-30 months. Because the 2025 fiscal year starts on September 29, 2024, and ends on September 27, 2025.
Also, Rockstar Games confirmed that they are developing the next title in the Grand Theft Auto series in February 2022.
