GTA 6 Release Platforms Announced - No PC Release Yet

The highly anticipated game GTA 6 has announced its releasing platforms, but unfortunately, there is no official announcement of a PC release yet.

Today, Rockstar Games officially released the first trailer for GTA VI. It's coming in 2025, and in a press release, Rockstar Games said "Grand Theft Auto VI is coming to PlayStation® 5 computer entertainment systems and Xbox Series X|S games and entertainment systems in 2025."

There is no PC mention as of now. So why no PC release on day 1? Let's see it quickly.

When it comes to Rockstar Games, they have a history of not releasing their games for PC on Day 1. They released GTA V in 2013 for PlayStation and Xbox, and for PC in 2014. Also, they released Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018 for PlayStation and Xbox and released it for PC in 2019.

We think above Rockstar Games statement does not mean they did not develop the game for PC. Surely they did. But sometimes PC release need more time. Maybe in 2025, there will be more powerful GPUs and CPUs and they are waiting to give the best PC experience to PC players, or maybe they will announce the PC release in one of the next trailers.

We asked Rockstar Games for a comment.
