GTA 6: Rockstar Games Releases the First Official Trailer

Rockstar Games has released the highly anticipated first official trailer for GTA 6 (GTA VI). Get a sneak peek into the next installment of title.

Grand Theft Auto VI's first trailer leaked on social media less than hours before the official release by Rockstar Games. So, Rockstar Games released the official trailer just a few minutes after it and said "Our trailer has leaked, so please watch the real thing on YouTube." on X (formerly Twitter).



The trailer is titled Grand Theft Auto VI, and says GTA VI is coming in 2025. Also, we can get an idea of GTA VI by watching the trailer. It shows the "modern day" Vice City setting as well as the first female protagonist in the series named "Lucia." 


The trailer also showed cars, beautiful places, and a social media "livestream" kind of thing. Yes, it shows social media livestreams and short videos in the trailer. So they're maybe social media activities. Also, trailer shows more new lighting technologies,  At the end of the trailer, the Grand Theft Auto VI logo appeared.


Rockstar Games press release said, "Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet."


Additionally, they stated, "Grand Theft Auto VI is coming to PlayStation® 5 computer entertainment systems and Xbox Series X|S games and entertainment systems in 2025." There is no mention about PC release as of now.


Rockstar announced the next title of the GTA series is "well underway" back in February 2022 and confirmed the first trailer will come in "early December." in October.
